Personal accomplishments and skills:

  • Charitable outreach. Through the management and development of a not-for-profit organization entitled, The Healing Eyes of Mercy, Karen donates a​ll business proceeds directly to one of three causes closes to her heart including the people of Rwanda, parishioners of St. Benoit Catholic Parish in Haiti and Christians in the Holy Land.

Spiritual Lessons: The spiritual dangers for those separated from the Mercy and Love of God, and the contrasting life giving waters offered to all in the Sacrament of  Baptism and the other 6 Sacraments.

  • Seeking the Light of Love throughout the world. Karen's desire for wisdom and increased understanding have lead her on numerous spiritual pilgrimages around the world, including a 21 day journey to the Holy Land with Jeff Cavins, developer of the Great Adventure Bible Timeline, a trip to Rwanda and the Shrine of Our Lady of Kibeho with Immaculee Ilibagiza, author of Left to Tell, and several visits to the holy sites in and around the Vatican City-State. These personal encounters, which greatly touched her heart and soul, simply fueled her growing zeal for the Lord!
  • Organization of a 3:00 p,m. devotional service for Divine Mercy Sunday​ including the recitation of the rosary, Divine Mercy Novena and Litany, Eucharistic Adoration, the Sacrament of Confession and veneration of theDivine Mercy Image.
  • Evangelization through the use of written and digital platforms. Karen's many evangelization efforts include the completion of her first book entitled, The Healing Eyes of Mercy. A Journey Towards the Light of God's Love, which is currently in the editing stages and awaiting publication, and the development of an inspirational website ( and weekly blog (A "Virtual" Pilgrimage)​.

Directing you towards the Light of God's Love! 


  • Teaching youth to reflect the Light of God's Love to others in their local community. Desiring an increase in local youth-based service opportunities, Karen developed and implemented an interactive, youth-based Christian Service Program entitled, Living the Bible Through Service, Based on the story of salvation history, participants focused on monthly service themes, demonstrated throughout the Old and New Testament, as they learned to reach out to those in need of the Light of God's Love.
  • Directing others towards the Light of God's Love. Through the ongoing facilitation of faith related classes, including The Great Adventure Bible Timeline and Book of Revelation by Jeff Cavins, Catholicism and The New Evangelization by Fr. Robert Barron, and Epic. A Journey through Church History by Steve Weidenkopf, Karen is spreading the good news of the Gospel to individuals longing for increased intimacy with God.

  • Inspirational presentation style. As the owner of a successful, ergonomic consulting company, Karen developed a public speaking ease and dynamic, yet personal presentation style. Equally comfortable, in front of a large or small group, speaking venues included upper management and employee wellness presentations, as well as small core-team facilitation seminars.
